In fact the aforementioned Celtics team seems to be one of the better teams (credit Brad Stevens & their FO) with regard to managing that aspect of the roster with 4 guys in particular (from what i could follow throughout the year) cycling through the couple of two-way contract slots and remaining on their team with 12-15th spots including: former Jazz F Juwan Morgan, former Clippers F Malik , Fitts, former Cavs G-F Broderic Thomas, and rookie F Matt Ryan.
All of whom have flashed potential to get NBA buckets in small samples and all in the range of 6’5-6’9 fulfilling that potential versitile, lanky, switchable NBA-level defender schematic.

A couple of other thoughts not directly related to your post, but nonetheless two-way roster spot relevant: I believe currently occupying this role for our Clippers is Gs Scrubb and Xavier Moon. While Moon flashed potential as a nice backup 3rd-string in a small sample and is no doubt worthy of some team’s two-way spot again this season, I feel the Clippers ought to have a second look at Agua Caliente PG and Moon’s teammate on the past season’s G league Clippers athletic G 6’3 Keaton Wallace (who is just 23 years old comp’d to Moon who’s turning 28 years old) who exceeded expectations and flashed real NBA-level potential in putting up very similar eye-opening stats to Moon and led the team production wise through their short run in the G League playoffs! He shot 46% from 3pt, scored 19ppg with 5 reb and 5 assists per game, often going toe to toe with whichever opposing team’s best player night in and night out.

Secondly, former Clipper Jerome Robinson joined up with the Santa Cruz Warriors for the second half of last years G League season and produced well as their team’s 6th man, and at just 25 years old, I still have faith in Jerome’s ability to be an NBA level producer. Obviously he’s not a fit with our current operation going into this season, but I hope he’s not written off from the National basketball association just yet.

For
I streamed him a ton last year while he was a net, and honestly
Unless he was dealing with an injury his min and numbers were nothing big, hence I personally think he’s a vet min ring chaser

Dragic I’m guessing will get a good role and a nice contract even for his age.

Pretty sure the Clips have a pretty good handle on his game, and seemed like they preferred Moon last year.

There are some maybe interesting PGs out there that might be available for the tpMLE (Wright, Bledsoe? Rubio?), but probably not at the minimum, especially if you expect them to outplay Reggie, Mann, and Kennard.

Minimum salaried PG, I really couldn’t think of anyone I would bother to roster. I’d rather get Preston some playing time over like bringing in a guy like Raul Neto or Elfrid Payton.

And actually Dunn might not actually wanna be here anyways – since he’s trying to resurrect his career, he may want to join a rebuilding team w/ more minutes available. Wall or Dragic trying to ring chase while being in LA seem to be more natural fits.

Plus he’s proven he can be a good role player on a (bubble) championship team. So he’s kind of like a younger MM but w/ rebounding.

Not saying he’d be some huge get a la Kyrie or KD, but if we agree that the Clips probably need a consolidating trade, then Kuzma is a realistic, decent option.

Now same could be said about Demarcus cousins but he’s proved most naysayers right .
For the minimum if wall ends up being good in small moments like cousins was for us ok, but if he gives us anything more it’s a huge bonus. Clippers love to roster players with a chip on there shoulders!

I liked Dunn a lot but honestly have lost track of him last 2 seasons.
Most the guys you mentioned have been passed around the league like hot potatoe and that’s prolly for a reason , however like I said earlier it’s not a huge role to fill for us but I’d rather have fading wall then those guys.
Dragic is another name thought he was gonna be free agent, luka and Dallas been courting him for a while but even then I still think I’d take wall.

He’s only 31 so definitely worth a look-see.
