Usually, when I first look at the schedule, I get certain feelings about certain stretches that make me uneasy. This year, it feels like maybe there is an even higher level of parity than in recent years. I have no clue how scary GS, Mem, Phx, or Min are. Maybe it’s b/c i’m so high on our team this year that I feel like we should clobber everyone except for maybe the Nets (when healthy and playing), Bucks (when healthy and playing) and the Mavericks (if Luka goes off). Outside of that, I feel like we should win every game. I really like our team and even with moderately good health, I feel like we should be a top 2 seed, but really, if I’m being honest with myself, I feel like we should have the best record in the league this year. It’s not like the Clippers to go for that, but it really shouldn’t be out of reach if we try even a little bit.

We have a billion line ups that should work. Everyone on our roster is deserving of playing time. Almost all of our guys are compatible with each other. And we have too many smart players to have a line up of 5 guys with low BBIQ.

Needless to say, I can’t wait for october.

I remember Matt Barnes saying how he lost some weight and extended his career. Same for Kevin Love when he came out of UCLA, he was a lot heavier than what he played as a pro.
If Marcus Morris and Zu could lose some weight, they would both probably be a step faster.

I’m thinking we may be getting past covid, at least so it’s gonna seem like a surprise if it happens. I’d say the training/med staff has a lot of work ahead to keep guys mobile and to prevent injuries. I’m a big believer in weight control as being overweight can lead to unnecessary injuries.
