Hhhn….at this point I wish Bones was involved in the Harden trade instead of KJ Martin, as ridiculous as that sounds. The Harden trade was a pretty obvious trade to make, I said so on this site a considerable amount of time before it happened. It’s gone even better than I hoped but it doesn’t mean the freaking stars didn’t align with a neon sign pointing to Harden that read “choose this guy!” Fringe stuff? Like today? Not all that impressed.

The old saying is that the first game back home is basically the last game of a long road trip. The pelicans game is what I would just chalk up to a schedule loss after a long road trip. Of course the HOPE was this team was different and could out gun even the steepest of odds, but unfortunately they’re not invincible. They need to respond in the next stretch of games, especially with a huge matchup against the Wolves coming.

Thank you for saying that. It doesn’t seem like there were any killer deals to be had today. The Harden trade was, by any standard, a killer deal. FO gets an A+ this year. We’re the best team in the NBA.

A while back when we had Marcus Morris, I invoked the Old Maid card game saying we were stuck holding the Old Maid. We, fortunately, got off that schneid and sent him to the Sixers. They now passed that card off to the Pacers. Wonder what they’ll do with him?

Best trade value wise In franchise history in a vacuum. Getting a PF would be nice, especially if it only cost Tucker and Bones, 2 players out of the rotation anyways. Maybe a passable PF lands on the buyout market but otherwise Clips feel confident with what they have, as they should.
