Regarding Anfernee Simons: he looks to be emulating Curry! Similar shooting choices, and drives to the hoop. His defense is bad (worse than Curry) and his offense isn’t quite that level either, but a very good player.

I always thought he was a poor man’s Lillard, but now appears to be a poor man’s Curry.

Harden was MVP. Closest PG13 was 3rd. PG13’s boneheaded play with the Clippers as shown me enough over these years. Harden > PG13.

I said from day 1 of the 213 era, the Clippers should’ve run Triangle. I’m guessing PG13’s IQ was too low to do it, Trez is questionable too. I’m confident the rest of the team could have.

Great night for the league (and the Clips) with Memphis getting a thrilling buzzer beating win over N.O. Ja live, children. Ja, Ja live. Ja has that wiggle, that illusiveness and movement in the air that harkens back to the athleticism of the 90s players. It was fun to watch, but it was even more fun to see it against the Pels. We gained a half a game and have a real shot at leapfrogging a few teams and getting some margin of distance with the play in group if we beat Dallas tomorrow.

Glad to see the Pels getting exposed for the frauds that they are.

Very entertaining and gutsy performance by GSW to beat Boston. Curry was him in that Q4, but the young guns like TJD played well too. Boston got exposed a bit. Don’t really fear them.

Phoenix also lost (always a good thing). Booker getting exposed as a shot chucker without a point to optimize his skills. Simons showing out for Portland.

My hope his that they can use his contract and one of the kids to get a second tier Stretch 4. It will be tricky however because we can’t aggregate PJs contract with another player so will need a 3rd team involved.

Yea it’s nothing personal w/ PJ – dude just isn’t what he once was and his current skillset doesn’t really fit what this roster needs. If he’s willing to drop his player option, waive him and he can sign wherever he wants. If not, then trade him for whatever as long as it isn’t a negative asset (e.g. a washed player on a bad contract).
