Grades seemed on point for the most part..

Bev spot on! There have been times & games where I wanted more of his grittiness but he’s been good

PG his time off really killed his A-.. Hoping he gets his mojo back cuz he was great offensively

Kawhi he’s had some frustrating moments but he’s so damn good that he makes everything look effortless at times

Batum he’s slowed down alot but even his recent play would warrant a B.. The fact that he was so damn good early on made him look worse than what he was.. He’s truly been GREAT for this team!

Serge the most frustrating Clipper by far but as you mentioned, he’s still been good.. Of all the players, I think he has the easiest path to getting an A.. Basically, he just needs to eliminate all post ups, SHOOT more 3s & make his floaters! His perimeter defense isn’t there anymore but he’s been good defending the paint, & much better defensively than given credit for

Lou hasn’t been as good the past few games or so but he’s played much better after a bad start.. Needs to eliminate some of his turnovers & stop forcing things though

Reggie he’s been better than I even thought at times I was the lone Reggie supporter before the season.. He’s probably had the toughest task but has over delivered.. He isn’t gonna wow you on defense but he’s been good on that end, especially as a team defender

Mann wouldn’t give him a + but he’s been a positive as a whole & has been good the past weeks.. There’s been games where he should’ve played less but it’s hard to knock a guy who brings the energy EVERY second of every game! His willingness to shoot has been great to see.. More time in the film room studying opponents tendencies will go a long way.. Happy with his improvement

Luke been a disappointing season so far but when he’s been aggressive, he’s been GOOD! Still wish he got more min but he also needs to do his part.. Hoping the Wiz game, gave him & Lue the confidence they both were looking for.. He’s too good to not play! Gotta give him credit for his effort on the defensive end also, def not the bad defender folks make him out to be

Sr. I’d give him a solid B.. He def was playing himself into shape & has been good.. Needs more looks offensively & plays ran to get him shots.. Too good to not avg more shots

Zu once he finally accepted his role, he’s been much better.. Still has bad moments, due to lack of effort & has mental lapses, but he’s on the right track.. Just wanna see him match Manns effort & energy level & keep his emotions in check going forward

Coffey has been a joy to watch (more than one reason why) & has shown, in limited min, that he’s a rotational guy at this level.. Another guy I wanna see play more.. The pace he, Mann & Reggie play with, is fun to watch

Lue wouldn’t give him a + either.. Love the staggering of Kawhi & PG, & what he’s done with them really, but haven’t been a fan of his rotations the past few weeks.. He needs to play Sr. more & needs to do a better job with his min distribution in the 2nd halves.. The defense has gotten better but they should be top 5 on that end regardless of some of their best guys being out.. May seem harsh & unfair, but the team defense & schemes he’s chosen to go with have been bad & frustrating!

Even with all their issues, mostly related to health, there’s not a team in the west that can nor should beat them when they’re at their best! They simply have too much talent & can play every style.. A few tweaks, here & there, should have them in the Finals, health permitted of course.. I’m hyped for the 2nd half!

When he plays hard & gives 2nd & 3rd efforts defensively, he’s good.. BUT, when he doesn’t, I completely understand this! He’s been much better, after a horrible start, but he’s still not the player fans think he is.. LOVE that he plays BIG against smaller lineups, which coincides with his best play.. Just need him to play that way against EVERYONE

Trade him for who? is the problem. Who is out there that is available who’d be better? I don’t think you’re completely off base, but you’re underrating him and he does keep improving. Plus it’s nice having a guy that size. He’s a very good backup center who, on this team, should actually be starting because the starter is well past his prime.

Protects the rim, works hard, should probably start on this team but a lot of what you say about his specific skills or lack thereof rings kinda true. If I recall correctly, the Lake show fans were not 100% sold on Zu when he was there.

I think that some people fall in love with stats over the actual performance sometimes. In the case of Big Zu, I see a large, slow footed center with horrible hands, limited athletic ability and absolutely zero guile or skill to his game. He loves to “tap” potential rebounds, instead of grabbing them and cannot make a shot outside a five foot hook or a dunk/layup). This gentle giant leads the league in having his own shot blocked (13%!)(many times by small guards at the rim) and continually backpedals under the rim on pick and rolls, giving up countless, easy floater baskets. He is great at taking the ball out of the basket, though…haha. Ballmer, please trade him why he still has value, before the rest of the league sees what I see…….

Also, the Clippers have played the most games in the NBA. Only team to play 38, and only a couple at 37.

So the 2nd half will be a “leisurely” pace compared to everyone else. More likely to have a rest advantage.

For the 2nd half of the season, I guess few things will unveil and develop. (IMHO Only**)
=> We don’t make major trade: I think we run with this squad. Staff Coaches changing is huge by itself. We need to learn new stuffs and get used to it. If we want big name PG, we would’ve done it since the last off-season.
=> Luke will show his real talent: If the last game before ASB shows anything, Luke is way more dangerous in his attack mode. I guess he doesn’t have to try to fit in anymore. He will flourish.
=> T-Mann & Coffey will be huge for us: If we want to split the death line up of Lou-Luke-Reggie, Mann should be the answer. He will be a taller P-Bev who balance out offense with defense. Coffey is the back-up wing we need. And if the rule of 2-way player officially change, he can play all the way in the playoffs.

This may not looks like a lot to be looking for. But all we need is a little bit of small things, combined together.

My sentiment this offseason was not to include Ivica in a potential CP3 trade. Now Ivica has improved since last year, so I’m totally not in favor of including Ivica in a Lowry trade, since Lowry isn’t the player that CP3 is.
