Feels like at least one maybe two guys are on their way out. Kobe Brown, Jordan Miller, and Cam Christie are the locks to be on the roster or 2 way spot. Moussa and Kai seem pretty duplicative, but not sure if they’re ready to cut bait on one of them. Flowers, I assume will have to show something in summer league to earn anything beyond a training camp invite. Boston feels like the guy probably to move on. Would be a little sad to see him go as he always showed flashes, but just never consistently enough to earn playing time. Roster spots will be at a premium given how many guys are already under contract and likely the pressure to continue to add pieces.

Kawhi, Harden, Norm, Mann, Westbrook, Bones, PJ, Zu, Coffey, Kobe, DJJ, and KPJ is already 12 full roster guys. Feels like they want to add at least 2 more guys with the rest of the MLE and BAE, but probably have like 3 holes to fill.

Might be a case where Miller, Christie, Flowers, Moussa and Kai are fighting for like 1 roster spot and the 3 2-way spots.

He was on the roster for one day. He got 1/177th of a veteran’s minimum deal. He made $11,608, and I don’t believe he got a dime guaranteed for last year.

Sure, I wouldn’t mind $11k for a day of work (technically it was a few weeks since he was on the playoff roster), but in the scope of NBA spending that’s basically free. They got a guy in, had him do some workouts and practices, and if that had all blown them away they would have had him locked in for cheap next year. Clearly what they saw didn’t meet that threshold.
