Main thing I’m annoyed by is the fact they play this game on a Wednesday with the Clippers on a back to back, and now the Lakers have 2 days rest, and Clippers have like 4 days of rest. For two teams that play in the same building. Was there no other day they could’ve played this game? I know it comes down to the TV schedule, but still the NBA is preaching playing every game, and not resting your stars, but then they’re still making teams play back to backs just to appease their TV partners.

Kawhi and PG should’ve just rested in protest.

Didn’t know what to expect from the Spurs. Since I watched them, two games were enough to see they have quite a bit more than just Wemby. Collins is a pleasant surprise, adding skills every year. Vassell looking good. Sochan looking good.

Dallas has started and looked a lot better than I expected. Can’t imagine that they go far (Jones jr starting is a weak spot and as much as I like Lively, he’s a rookie and their other centers aren’t great). Curious how they look vs stronger teams.

Never cared about the Hawks and haven’t watched them. Results are good though

I had the Spurs making the play in before the season. I’m comfortable with that pick. Dallas is a fool’s gold team, imho.

The issue isn’t the pairing of Bones/Norm/Plumlee it’s playing Bones & Norm together! They’re just too small & the weakest defenders on this team.

Simply put, they’re really gonna have to stagger the 4 stars & avoid that Bones & Norm pairing as much as possible. Rotations are gonna get super tricky but I hope we see alot of Russ w/ Mann lineups

I’m with you on Roco & Nico > Mann. This team is REALLY lacking in size & length now. I get everything that Mann brings but this team is small! Im hoping they can somehow flip any combo of Norm, Mann, Bones, zu & the young guys for an upgrade at the 4 &/or 5. I’d prefer keeping Mann & Bones but they’re gonna need to do something by the deadline

For starters, +/- mean absolutely NOTHING! 2nd, he’s getting the majority of his min alongside 213, of course his numbers are gonna look better. I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, CONTEXT MATTERS!

I never said ppl claim he’s all nba but how many times do you see or hear folks say how zu is “so good”, he needs to play more, he needs to close & all the other crap? It happens all the time! I’ve always said, he’s a solid center but the worst starting center in the western conference! The exception, Collins in SA, but he’s a 4 who plays the 5 now. Mavs don’t start Powell anymore, who’s also a 4, so I can’t even count him now & OKC has Chet, who’s not an ideal 5 but we all know their skill levels are night & day.

I don’t care what he gets paid, point is, he’s not a good starting center. He gets attacked in PNR constantly, he clogs the lane on offense, he can’t catch the fuckin ball, he plays soft & he bitches constantly. & don’t get me started on his playoff performances, which somehow gets overlooked, as if it’s not a big deal!

Now, do I think Plumlee is a starting caliber center? NO, but he’s def a much better player who can do alot more on BOTH ends. Yes, he doesn’t have the length to provide better rim protection, but AGAIN, he allows you to run more coverages defensively + he’s alot smarter. Plumlee is simply a better fit with every & any lineup cuz of his versatility.

The sooner the Clips can upgrade the 5, the better!
