I actually thought about him, and what he can bring to the table. We could use a backup at forward, and Batum is still a decent playmaker as well. If he could somehow rejuvenate himself, and be 50% the player he was when he signed with the Bobcats, he could be a useful player off the bench.

His last year on paper was atrocious that’s a fact, did someone see him play recently?

Blazers & Suns are the only teams who’ve gotten better but neither is a contender.. Denver didn’t get better but they’re still young so they’ll get better based on experience.. Them losing Grant hurts them ALOT! Love Jamyke but he’s no Grant..

The Clips roster has gotten worse, as of this moment but they’ve improved drastically, just with the coaching changes & ol boy kicking rocks! All we can do is wait to see what they do, albeit, very impatiently

I’d say the only teams in the west who should be better next year are dallas, twolves, suns, and warriors. Only rockets and thunder got worse. I think NOLA should be better as well, but we’ll see how that team comes along.

The east should be stronger next year too. Philly, brooklyn, miami, and bucks should be much better next year. Boston could be vastly improved just by natural development of their guys (that’s how they improved last year).

With the loss of JMG, our team is worse. Bev, Leonard and PG are a year older. The only thing we can look forward to next year is Zu’s development and hopefully a healthy luke kennard being better than Landry. I’m fine with the kennard trade, but I’m not hopeful that Luke will be any better than a “Landry with a good pg” situation. Because we needed a pg anyway, I kind of wish we found a pg instead of trading landry away. Now, it feels like we just have more offensive firepower to go with Leonard, PG and MM.

Best case IMO is we can convince Gasol to plug his nose and join our pariah team for no more than 2/20. Worst case we get neither and are dumpster diving and overpaying MLE for someone like Whiteside. How did this team become such an unattractive destination so quickly??? The one thing that Doc was good at was getting FA’s to come here. Now without him we’re off the radar of coveted FAs. Too bad he was such a shitty playoff coach. Needed him in some kind of figurehead player relations role or something.

Fakers swapped D and vet savvy for offensive production. Den lost their Kawhi stopper for JMG. Dal is by all counts positioning for 2022. We know what happened to the Dubs. Rox are grounded. Suns are rising but they have a very long hill to climb. I can’t keep up with who and what OKC and NOLA have, so where exactly do you get that our Western brethren are rising?
