crazy that in just 3.5 years with the Clips he became maybe one of favorite Clippers of all time. I guess when you think about it, most Clippers players historically haven’t really stuck around a long time. Sam Cassell, also probably in my top 10 favorite Clippers, was only around for 2.5 years.

I love that these NBA lifers, like Jamal, Lou, Batum, Reggie, etc. find maybe the best versions of themselves late in their careers with the Clippers, and consider the Clippers to be some of the best times in their careers.

Just speaks volumes to where the organization is now. Before rookies couldn’t wait to get paid and get off the Clippers. Now you have NBA vets which have experienced several other organizations, finding new life with the Clippers and never wanting to leave.

I don’t think depth is a downside of a potential CP3 trade. Let’s say it’s Gordon/Morris for CP3. And let’s assume that Russ then leaves in free agency.

CP3/PG/Kawhi/RoCo/Zu
Bones/Norm/Mann/Nico/Plumlee
Boston/Amir/Moussa

That team has red flags, but they’ve still got a really sharp top 10 and Amir isn’t even back in the picture. That’s assuming Russ leaves and not factoring in the chance that Landry comes back in a CP3 for Gordon/Morris deal to save Washington money and be an expensive third stringer for us instead.

Lou definitely one of my favorite clippers ever. Game 5 vs the Warriors my favorite clipper game ever.

Suns are going to be SCARY now with Beal. Looks like they got him for basically nothing too. I hope our brass has something up their sleeve,

Very much enjoyed Lou’s tenure with the Clips. Was proud to have the NBA’s iconic 6th man on our team (after I thought Jamal was “the one”).

Lou is a great player and a great individual and teammate. We were so lucky to have him and have him at his peak.
