This Laker blogger is projecting THT to potentially be better than the players the Lakers drafted with their high lottery picks. Players like Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Julius Randle, and D’Angelo Russell. The Blogger hasn’t really considered matchup or game context in which Lakers coach Frank Vogel has placed THT in order for him to succeed. .

The Blogger brings up what THT did in the playoffs. Yet, if THT was so promising, why didn’t Vogel insert him against Denver or Miami. Could it been that Vogel saw that Houston was a favorable matchup. It totally make sense since THT is a long term investment, and Vogel is protecting the Lakers investment by bringing THT slowly against the right matchups.

It’s probably not a coincidence that Vogel played THT so heavily against the Clippers while resting his stars. Vogel probably knows the Clippers are inserting a new offense which makes for a more favorable matchup for THT. The Lakers play the Suns next. Lebron and AD will play that game. That’s probably best for THT, because their absence would have meant having THT matching one on one against a Devin Booker who will gun for him. That probably isn’t the best idea.

If other folks are consistently telling you that you aren’t fun to be around, take it to heart instead of doubling down on being annoying.

We can all disagree about things and argue and you can have whatever opinions you want, but once you start killing the vibe we’ve got an issue. Goons sent me absurd fake trades all off-season long and we disagreed about them frequently but just because I thought he was wrong doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the conversations with him.

It’s the pity party BS that gets an eye roll the first time and then starts making the comments unpleasant when it’s spammed–and it’s always during good times when happy fans come leave one positive comment about something good, and bad times when one annoying asshole leaves dozens of comments and replies to every single post with some random irrelevant comment about how everything is awful.

Again, Mann had that amazing triple double to end the bubble seeding games and we all realized that he wasn’t some amazing trade chip to try and help the Clippers land Jrue or CP3.
