I was just saying that signing Wall was not at the expense of letting Hart go. Wall was a very inexpensive deal, so a decent risk/reward decision. I’m just not loving Wall now … but I am still hoping for the best.

There’s still a ton of time and he looks really athletic. If his decision making comes around, we’ll def be in the money. The biggest question mark I had when we signed the deal was whether or not he could stay on the court. We’re pretty far past that point. If he develops chemistry with the team, we struck gold. If we suffer injuries in the playoffs and he ends up needing to fill the gap, it’ll probably have still been worth the contract. So far, I’d probably still do the John Wall deal again if I had a time machine.

NY offered him more than the Clips could. So it was never a “Hart or Wall” decision, those were independent decisions/ moves.

Not a huge fan of the Wall deal either, but that is not what prevented Hart from re-joining. They still had an open spot for a center.regardless.

We have the worst luck regarding health. While there is def some overlap with the Kawhi being acknowledged as the best player in the league, I feel we can get to that point before getting through the playoffs. Really hopeful that all of this rest will translate into good health across the board in the playoffs. I really want to see Luke, Norm, and Mann firing on all cylinders. I’m at the point where I take MM, Batum and Zu for granted. Those guys have been so consistent.

1) Clippers have given up the fewest points per game in the NBA.
2) Clippers are 9 – 2 (82% winning percentage) in games that Kawhi has played in.

As I’ve said before, I expect Kawhi to be very close to 100% physically back by the end of Jan. Then 100% back to being Kawhi by mid-March. Then, The Terminator come playoff time.

I expect the Clippers to win an NBA title this year. And pretty much everyone acknowledging Kawhi as the best player on the planet as they hoist the Larry O B.

I’m hopeful we won’t see any john wall in a playoff series. I don’t have a problem with giving him a good amount of usage. Firstly, it provides rest opportunity for some of our key rotation players (primarily Reggie). Secondly, he looks like he’s got his burst. His decision making is what is lacking. If he can use his minutes to fix that and build chemistry with the team, he’ll be a major asset, even if it’s just running the offense off the bench.

Luke Kennard is outstanding. I can’t wait for the team to be ready for him to start. It’ll be amazing if Mann comes along and get’s the starting nod around the same time. Both of these guys are awesome and would complement each other really nicely in the back court. With Luke’s improved defense, our small ball line up of Luke, Mann, PG, Leonard and Batum would be so fun to watch. Those guys seem to also be developing a really natural chemistry with Luke/Mann/Batum (and increasingly Leonard) becoming really willing passers and great at moving off the ball. I’ve penciled those guys in for our closing line ups in the playoffs and I’m getting ready to get my pen out.

Makes me think uve played the game, maybe at a high level and/or coached the game, maybe at a high level. Without giving your ID away, can you just give us a general background/resume. For example, “played to the JC level, was a pretty good player and then coached HS for a few years–our teams won a lot” — How close am I by the way?
