I kinda want suns to be in playoffs , I’d like seeds 1-3 (if we’re not moving up to 3) to have some grueling 7 game series to deal with.
Usually top seeds get the cake walks while we go 2 rounds of 7 games each and that is usually taxing .. on the other hand maybe we don’t want these tuffer teams getting in as they could end up being our eventual demise.

His response was that today everything comes down to the three ball and that the basic calculous is to pick whichever team is more likely to be hot from deep four times in a series. There are other factors of course, but with the Celtics and Denver being the obvious top two, bookies feel like we are more likely to get those four games against the rest of the field than any of the other teams. Teams like Minny and NOLA that supposedly have our number can get up for a one-off regular season game with guys like Reid and Alvarado getting hot, but they just don’t have the reliable firepower to outgun us in a 7 game series. As an old school basketball fan it’s a bit depressing that it could be this simple. On the other hand perhaps this might offer some hope despite how raggedy we look lately. No other team has four battle tested reliable bombers like Harden, Kawhi, PG and Norm. Two or possibly three, but not four. Thought it was an interesting take.

OKC has a tough schedule with 8 road games, 2 games vs Milwaukee, @N.O., Houston, Phx, @NYK, @Bos,@Ind, Sac, Dallas.
Among those 10 games, I could see OKC taking 3-4 losses. OKC probably finishes 9-5 or 10-4 w/ 57/58 wins.

Denver only has 5 road games and their tough games are Phx, Minn 2x, Cleveland, @LAC. I don’t see Denver losing more than twice. Minnesota and Cleveland have injuries, LAC will load manage. Denver probably finishes w/59 wins.

Dallas has an easy schedule and probably finishes at #6. They could climb to #5 if Ingram is out for the remainder of the regular season. Phx has only 12 games left and 10 are against playoff teams. I think they’re stuck in the play in.

Sac is a little unpredictable but their remaining schedule suggests play in at #7 or #8.
Lakers/GSW are probably stuck at 9/10 though Houston could sneak up and oust GSW.

But I think suns and there big three if healthy have something to play for despite there schedule but you could be right.

But, OkC keeps on surprising me in so many ways, wouldn’t be a huge shocker if they hold on to 1 seed. My preference is being in there bracket and both big teams that will out rebound us on there knees nuggs/wolves get stuck in the same side of the bracket🤞🏼

They dismantled the Pelicans after a slow start to win by double digits. Banchero and Isaac were really good for ORL. Ingram got hurt and had to leave the game.

If the Clips take care of business vs Portland tomorrow, they’ll be at least 2 games ahead of the Pels and might even be 2.5 games ahead because the Pels have another game vs Miami team that desperately needs a win to try to get into the top 6, while the Pels won’t have Ingram.
