No, I still think that Coach Lue should have been fired from the abysmal job from last season.

But, Steve B. says bring the band back together for one more run/show at the grand ballroom at Lake Wazzapumani, i.e. Staples Center.

This is our last shot at a chip with the 213 core. James Harden is our only hope to get two players, who do not complement each other — to actually work.

Rather, we have two separate teams:
KL, JH, Zu, Norm, T. Mann

Russ, PG, Theis, Kobe and Norm/Bones.

If Coach Lue can balance our ship and get us to the prize, then all is ok.

As Lucas once said “Clippers fans are prone to despair.” Absolutely spot on. I think when one is the type of person who invests in unknowns and/or underdogs there’s a lot of perseverance and determination that the fair weather sports fan doesn’t have. What comes with that are a lot of bruises along the way that manifest in meltdowns and hyperbole.

But it’s just so much more interesting to me to see the “impossible” materialize than rooting for the front runner. I can’t wait until LeBron is out of this league. I’m so sick of seeing his face plastered all over everything. It’s boring now.

It’s not just the Clippers I want to see do well, but others like Orlando, or Charlotte or the Nets for ANYONE who hasn’t won a title yet.

As far as Ty goes, I reached my nadir with him last season when we were hemorrhaging games because we had no backup center and he kept tinkering with those small ball lineups. We could blame Frank for that but trust me Ty wasn’t pounding his fist on his desk demanding someone or it would have happened sooner.

Ty is a very cool and likable dude and has shown creativity on the fly during games. I’ve used this analogy before for him but he’s more like a jazz saxophonist than an orchestra conductor.

With LeBron he had that on-floor conductor and it worked. With James he might too and we’ll just have to see how it all plays out. But if he starts doing kooky things again and it costs us games, all of us boo birds are going to speak to it.

Can’t wait to see what we have once Mason comes back.

Maybe Kobe and DT can be molded into stopgap stretch 4s once that happens. I’m still nervous about how undersized we can be at times.

Yea I hear you. Sports can be a great distraction from the rest of the problems in your life, but at the end of the day if you don’t face and solve that shit, all following sports is gonna do is turn you into an insufferable asshole other fans don’t wanna be around.
