Not surprising the outcome given that disparity. But I just wonder what’s keeping the Clippers as a team from shooting the 3 the way they should? I feel like it’s slightly trending in the right direction, but it’s crazy how bad their 3 ball has been across the board. Like everyone is down at least 5% from last season, except Kennard. Did they change the ball back? Did they change the rims? Just crazy that it’s been so bad for a team that has been #1 in the LEAGUE the last 2 seasons, and only has added better shooters (Norm, PG) from last year. For them to be bottom 5 in the league is just crazy.

You just hope they can regress to the mean (back to #1 3pt%) soon, because they’re lucky to be 0.500 with the ball they’ve been playing. If they can pair their defense with better shooting, they should shoot up the standings relatively easily.

Not entirely the refs fault..we went 11-0 from the 3 ball in the 4th & the rare trip to the line was awarded with missed free throws, but I felt like there was some defensive intensity. As far as Norman goes, an early criticism of this teams roster was that there are too many people who deserve the ball. The Norman Powell of last year was a starter and averaged over half an hour of playing time. He’s averaged over or very close to half an hour since 2019. As currently designed he’s not getting in rhythm. With a worthy Mann & Coffey breathing down his neck he’s feeling every missed shot and he’s seemingly terrified of the 3. He looks like Terrence Mann at the 3 line right now. Hesitating…unlike Mann who just does this desperate jerky pass with time expiring, Powell attempts a contested drive and fails. At least Mann passes it 👀

Saw and listened to parts of this but the box score is all about the foul disparity. I never put it on the refs, never. Clips fouled way too much–it’s lazy, tired and bad D (let Sexton get whatever he wants). They think their shooting will compensate but then it doesn’t and you get the L. Play better D, if you care.
Agree with Chog on why not play Moses after he has a great game. Because “he stinks” as some here say? Disagree and call out bad coaching by Ty. OTOH, Hardy looks like an up and comer.
Would be nice to get our guys back. Missing Nard badly and saw KL on the bench. Wanna give that knee a test drive??

He’s been abysmal. John Wall should be starting not Reggie. Batum isn’t the same player that he’s been the past 2 years. Small ball doesn’t work. Play more Covington less Batum. KL isn’t playing anytime soon. Play Moses more. If he can’t cut it, dump him. This team is completely disjointed.
