Scrubb reminds me of RJ Barrett. From what we’ve seen of him, he seems like a chucker but perhaps he would be a more willing passer when playing with an actual team.

Preston’s a Lamello wannabe but there are some similarities (besides wild hair). He’s an xlnt 2 hand fundamental passer; xlnt no look pocket passer. Fun to watch when he gets it going. Would be nice to see him hit an outside shot—Keon too.
Boston can definitely shoot as can ball hog Scrubb. Hicks has nice size and Roach has a stroke.

You wonder if some of these players opted for the G-League like Jalen Green did (he seems to be quite exceptional). But, other players just need time to grow into their adult bodies. Boston and the other Clipper draft players will need years to grow physically to be able to compete against grown men.

Well right now Scrubb’s ceiling is JR smith sans the knucklehead if things break right. But if he could unlock himself as a play maker off some drive and dish stuff, than this clippers pg/kawhi window just got a whole lot longer.

It took a little while, but Preston did show some chops offensively. He’s got a long way to go, but there were some flashes of being a floor general. Defensively, the guy is a train wreck. I counted 3 times that he just ball watched when a shot was put up and his man jogged around him to contest the rebound. Preston!, you’re f’ing killing your teammates when you do that. Even if you’re skinny, you have to try and put your body between your guy and the ball.

Definitely, Boston showed some glimpses of being a good player.
It is only one game, but we’ll see how they look after 10 days of scrimmages.
The Bucks Jordan Nwora looked like a man among boys out there.

But as Lucas says, Scrubb needs to be able to dish when the D closes in. Like to see the team help him improve there.
