I don’t think it’s just Durant. Kyrie is a free agent at the end of the year. The body language between Lebron and the Lakers FO isn’t great. I don’t recall him really thanking management after he broke the record. He’s still obviously playing at a high level and has certain coveted skills in terms of being able to get to the rim at will and finish while also being a fairly reliable off the dribble 3 pt shooter. The Lakers may shop him too. On top of that, FVV will be a free agent if he’s not moved and Siakam is clearly on the market.

Beginning to think we’re not going to see any major moves at this trading deadline because no one really believes KD is staying in Brooklyn. Other than some small moves, I don’t think we’re going to see big roster shifts unless a team that is a prospective seller provides a sharp discount to potential buyers.
