Yeah, stats with no context is useless but I feel they definitely aid the team in utilizing their assets more. A good example would be using Reggie for catch and shoot 3s versus off the bounce. He was a great catch and shoot 3 guy and the stats supported it too.

GSW used stats to great success when in the series versus Dallas. They put Currey on Finney-Smith who is a great 3PT shooter at 39.5% in the 2021-2022 season. However, if he shot 3s from above the break, he was an average 35% or so and deadly from the corners at about 45%. So, if Curry was attacked in a PnR, Curry could hedge without worrying to much since if Finney-Smith decided to roll, GSW had great help defenders to meet him.

Routine jump stop layup. He got fouled by a defender but he was grimacing before the contact so it looked like he messed up his foot on the sudden stop.

Well seeing as how that’s what was happening before we got Westbrook it just validates my feeling that bringing Westbrook on was a huge mistake. How come no other teams wanted him maybe cuz he was first in the league 8n turnovers one of the worst 3-point shooters in the league and can’t defend anybody. And even if you make the argument that he’s playing okay it still doesn’t mean it was a good move by the team because now it’s thrown the rotations back into the toilet. The two most convincing wins of the season were the two games before Russ appeared on the scene.

Lue must be replaced if we are to have any chance of any sort of run in the playoffs or maybe even of making the playoffs. This team to my eyes is flailing at the most critical moments.

And especially when compared to how they looked the two games before the All-Star break.

Conveniently, Lue left out : Morris should have played less.
And also : Roco should have played!!

KL and PG have been together for 3 years now? But, only this season have they been ready (at least PG, Terance and Zu were not ready until that West Conf. finals experience to make that next jump).
You can see the development in some players (like Terance), you can see his brain processing to the next level.
Some other players — regression of ability due to age and injuries.
PG just needs to focus. KL and PG cannot just revert back to doing iso plays. Do you remember those games in that damn Bubble against Denver? We just fell apart as a team.
Yesterday’s game, when Mook threw up that corner three that hit the top of the backboard reminded me of desperation.
Coaches and players — it is just basketball like when we played like kids. Good passing, moving without the ball, boxing out. Go back to basics.

I thought he was really good on the radio. I’d like to see the Clippers replace Sieman on TV with young Noah Eagle, who I consider fantastic. Vin Scully was 22 when he began calling games for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Give Noah a shot.
