He is definitely not washed.

It looks like we will get better from now on.
Wall is more physically ready. We start to get more playing time from a backup C (MB).
Once the g-league starts our young guys will be getting some reps over there.
We return lots of rotational players from last season but we change some playbook or system, I guess, to re-integrate Kawhi. And then change it again when he is off to take care of his knee. (Get well soon, No. 2)
So, it may not be the blistering start we hope for. But in a way, we are fighting to survive like we always do. And that’s not bad at all.

The way a TPE works is the player has to fit inside the amount, in this case I think our TPE is something like 9.3 million? Can’t remember the exact number.

True, Moses was pretty bad during preseason, but remember before last season, Coffey was absolutely dreadful during Summer League, then he improved by 1000% in the regular season.
Clippers seem to have good luck with diamond in the rough type of player. It is wierd to say that any UCLA player is a diamond in the rough since that school produced so many good NBA players.

I’m really happy Moses got a shot, and I’m happy he was instrumental in the Clips getting another desperately needed win.

Dude, which part of the above statement came off as me not rooting for the kid? I root for all of our players, even when they’re struggling. I don’t have any negative feelings towards any of our guys, and having no Deshaun Watson or Kyrie-type dudes on this team (at least that we know of) is a rarity that I’m very thankful for.

Also, I’m not sure what you’re definition of “detractor” is, but if critiquing a dude’s on-court performance and expressing frustration makes me a “detractor,” then so be it.

Moses looked bad in the preseason, and Lue wasn’t playing him in the regular season so we had no evidence to contradict/refute his preseason performance – if you trust Lue’s coaching acumen then it doesn’t take much of a leap to get to “Moses probably isn’t good enough to play.” Obviously he proved that notion wrong last night, and I hope he continues to do so, but one very exciting half of basketball isn’t enough for me to suddenly leap from “coach doesn’t trust him but was forced to play him due to emergency/desperation” to “we can count on him to come through when it counts.”

Still feels like a lot of my fears about the Clippers so called “depth” are being realized. I feel like easy to get excited about these guys, but they’re all just role players for a reason. Batum seemingly can’t play more than 15 minutes a night, Norm is a score only guard who has struggled to even do that, Reggie hasn’t been an efficient scorer since he blacked out in the 2021 Playoffs. Hopefully at least Norm and Reggie can get back to at least their career averages, because their current shooting over the course of a year would see themselves out of the league.

Still can’t believe the Front Office went into this season thinking 2 two-way guys in Moses and Moussa would be fine as like the only real centers on the roster, and have no real alternative than going with small ball. Just having Moses as a rebounder in this game, was a game changer, even if he was still bad defensively. I understand not wanting to pay a guy like JaMychal Green off a waiver claim, or Noel using a TPE. But a guy like Whiteside has sat there all summer and I would assume would be a minimum guy if not a non-guaranteed contract guy. At least give yourself some flexibility with another guy that can play center, especially games like tonight where Zu is out with foul trouble, or worse, gets injured over the course of an 82 game season. Still feels like the FO has to have something up their sleeve, but maybe I’m still giving them too much credit.
