We wait for so long for an actual game and everyone is considerably healthy to all suits up. That’s fine for me.
I actually love that Kawhi wants to play and be ok to come off the bench. Now nobody can complain if they have to wait for their turn because no. 1 player on the team have done it.
We will get better, I can’t promise it feels like that.

Coming back to play after a torn ACL is not a joke. Playing in a real game vs practice is not even comparable. Early season you wouldn’t play your starters 35+ minutes, why would you ever consider playing a guy coming back from a major knee injury 30 minutes? I’m sure the clips doctors and kawhi’s team had already discussed it. He’s not signed for just this year. The goal isn’t the regular season. Last year’s team almost made it in with KL AND PG missing tons of games. With a deeper team there’s no doubt we should make it in. The goal is the championship. You do everything with the championship in mind. And if that means playing him off the bench and letting him ease back into it, then that’s what it means. you can’t be short sighted
