If you S&T Trez out for Tucker you’re going to be over the hard cap and lose the MLE.

You still didn’t fix the first issue–how are you getting Hill and Tucker via trade if only sending out Lou? You’ve blown way over the hard cap and lost your MLE to get Gallo.

It also didn’t use to be true. Lou and Trez were great in the 18-19 season. They scored efficiently and in a way that involved other players. Trez’s defense and rebounding was solid as well. That changed in the 19-20 season, but it took time for that change to be concrete.

For the record, I have been asking for a trez trade since summer of 2019. He was appalling last year. I felt less pressure to trade Lou because of how much he committed to the team with the contract he took. In the end of the day, I blame doc for overplaying lou. I still think he had/has value on the team for $7M, but he shouldn’t be relied on to the extent that doc relied on him.

Wouldn’t a s&t of trez for Tucker be better, that way you get to keep Pat?

Trez 3/42 + Patton (9 mil going out)
Tucker 1/8 mil

Lou + Noah (9.7 mil)
Hill 1/9.5

Add whatever 2nds needed to each deal

Then splitting the mle between Dunn & Moe

Or would any trade involving a s&t with trez automatically hard cap them, thus, leaving the clips with the mini mle & perhaps the bae?

Glad you’re trusting the front office again, Lucas.

But won’t Patton affect the clippers salary cap of signing players? At first when the trade went down, it seemed they freed up 2 million dollars. Now it’s filled up again with a useless player.

Although in my idea , Could we keep Bev let JMG walk along with Trez
That way we could have Bev and hill as pg’s
Letting JMG walk opens up the forward logjam for gallo

Sure, maybe some folks said that months ago. But the only times I’ve seen it in the last month, at least, is from you quoting a straw man–multiple times a day. I think everyone who reads the board knows where you stand.
