I have a bit of an eccentric take as to why I think Kawhi may be able to do this, Although he’s missed a lot of court time due to this knee nightmare, as a result the rest of his body has had a lot less wear and tear than a normal 34 year old. Most players age and burnout systemically like we saw with Paul Pierce where his legs were gone and he was totally washed. But if they’ve rebuilt Kawhi’s knee into something bionic and durable we might see him return to greatness. There’v certainly been flashes of it and he just looks crisper including more elevation on his shot and better overall body language.

Watching how he moves is the most intriguing thing for me in these last couple of preseason games.
