Norm to the Magic is a good move for them. They have a lot of size, but they need guard scoring and Norm can really do that. Put his offense with the defense that team generally plays and they can elevate in the East. I want to get younger out of any trade. I don’t really want KD. He’s going to cost too much relative to where he is as a player now.

ON another note: looks like Patty MIlls WON’T return. Just agreed to a GM position with U of Hawaii. Awesome to hear it. He’s a good guy, has Pacific Islander roots and I have lots of family in Hawaii.

We are lucky to have Batum.
Apart from T-Mann, get back one day dude, I hope we give Nico a chance to celebrate winning with us.
His episode on LAC YT channel of playing while his wife just gave birth to their baby is still a pick up content when I needed one.
…
Regarding Norm, I pretty much preferred If we trade him to get younger talent rather than KD.
If Ballmer don’t want to bottom out, which we can’t anyway, we need to rebuild/retool now, not later.
If we deal with Magic, I want Da Silva in return.

Not sure if there’s anything further Nico can do to endear himself to the fan base than he’s already done and I expect him to play at the same level again as this year. Valuable piece for our staying relevant.

There appears to be some smoke around our being interested in KD. Did a bit of tinkering with the TM and came up with something that might just work without gutting our future.

The Magic seem to be a great landing spot for Norm and have two 1st rounders in the upcoming draft. They seem willing to part ways with Jonathon Issac so perhaps a three way deal like this could work.

Clippers receive KD
Magic receive Norm
Suns receive Issac, Gary Harris (expiring), Bogi, DJJ, Eubanks, #25 from the Magic and #30 from us.
