Just being able to hit the 3 is a so important in the league these days. I know Kobe will have games he gets hot, but has yet to show he can hit those shots consistently. Cam looks like an elite shooter already. Will be curious if he can get those same shots off against real competition, but so far so good.

He may need another year in the G-League. Credit the Clipper staff for getting him to this point. He should get a shot with the Hornets.

Jordan Miller appears to be a better version of Amir Coffey.

I like Kobe Brown. He is a very smart unselfish player. Lue needs to play him.

High hopes for both Christie and Flowers.

Congrats to Harkless.

He’s a great kid with a great motor who gave 100% effort every time, and was always invested in his teammates even when he wasn’t in the game. I’m guessing they believe that Kai’s stock was slightly higher being a 1st round pick and he is slightly bigger so that’s best I can make of it all. Finally got to see some highlights of Nico on the French team. Maybe we already have the starting PF we need. He doesn’t have to play 34 minutes to start and get the chemistry rolling. Would still love to get a younger PF but it was heartening to see him look so good still.

Wish the team would’ve stayed the course with him. But I guess they really like Kai Jones. Vamos a ver.

I hope Brown can stick. Dude has size and BBIQ, would root hard for him.
I think Cam will be lethal in a couple years. He got game.
Sad to see Moose goes. He needs playing time so we only have G-league to offer. I hope he develop and come back when the time is right.
Coach Jones is legit. His approach might work with the younger guys. But I hope he gets involve with the main team anyway. Playing defense and hustling help at any level. Let’s see how it goes.

I hope Moussa and BBJ have NBA careers but I’m quite skeptical on both

I’ve always felt like big men take longer to develop and probably will be in his prime around 25-26 years old. I still think there is a place in the league for Moussa. But I get it, that place in the league probably is as a minimum salaried hustle backup big man ala Nerlens Noel or Willie Cauley Stein. Unfortunately for where he was drafted, Moussa is not going to get the long leash of those guys.

I think Charlotte is as good of a place for him. Not of ton of competition at the big spots, hopefully LeMelo back play solid guard play. I was hoping BBoston would also go there and get another shot.

I might have changed the order, and put Jordan Miller and his “A” at number one, followed by Kobe B., and then gone to Cam C. Just because JMiller had done what so many Clipper draft picks have failed to do. He showed a bit of promise in SL last year, and then he both excelled and improved in the G League. And he showed up at SL this year and showed that he’s ready, that he can handle NBA minutes, has upside, and will be opportunistic.

The interesting thing for JMIller now will be how he fits and what those opportunities might be. There’s a triple lefty thing–four if you cound James Harden–going with Clipper role players, now that DJJ has been added. The trio has lots of similarities. DJJ is the bright and shiny new toy, but we don’t want to forget or underestimate Amir Coffey in the post-PG/Russ configuration. And both of those guys are in front of JMiller and will crowd him out.

Kobe B’s grade seems accurate, and I’m just going to hope for the best for him. I was interested in Cam C, and it’s nice that he showed such good elements at this early stage, but it was clear right away that he wasn’t ready to be a major headline. The best case of his trajectory would be the exact same thing that Jordan Miller just accomplished, except that Cam and his shooting could be a more valuable commodity at this point next year.

And the Moussa news just dropped. Always seemed like a fun and energetic player, really easy to root for. When a guy who never had an extended tryout or a clear shot leaves or gets shipped out, a person who never had a chance to show mediocrity or fail, the issue is whether that person is going to be a notable and impactful player someplace else. We hope that Moussa does well and thrives, but he’s never going to do too much damage. We don’t worry that Brandon Boston will be great on another team. We hold onto Terance Mann because it seems like we still haven’t seen the best of him. Hartenstein is devastating and sad, and then there’s SGA… Good luck to Moussa!
