Bother’s me plenty. Even a second stringer could fake Kai into the popcorn machine. You don’t have to be a top tier player to pump fake a guy. And even a 3d string NBA center should not be embarrassed like that. Either Kai hasn’t learned to restrain himself or he’s flawed. I think JVG would agree and they’re probly studying film together rn.

Agree 100%. Jordan needs to be on big club and getting minutes. The guy is too good to not be given a consistent chance.

I think Mo is probably better than Kai, Kai has theoretically more upside

I don’t care about his off-court antics. It’s his isos into terrible shots without even a thought of passing that I hate. He showed decent passing ability and defense, but those terrible isos are not only ugly to watch they deflate his teammates. You could see the disappoint and/or disgust of the wide open wings while he chucked up bad shots. He’s not even good at isos.

Kai’s performance vs Sabonis does not really bother me. I mean …our 2nd string C vs with their 1st … I expect to be dominated. Bamba may not be any better in that situation.

If we have to play too many minutes of a bench guy vs anybody’s star; then we are in a world of hurt (as is any team).

If that situation really does come up in the regular season, Ty will probably go with a small ball solution … and that may be a good thing. Switch everybody down one slot (i.e. if Batum is the biggest guy then he takes Sabonis. Then we beat the Kings on the other end with a different mis-match. If Kai/Bamba can’t handle Sabonis, how much worse would a PF do?
