I really hope it’s minor – he’s the last guy we can afford to lose 😣

I remember the 1989 Blazers finals run and how instrumental 2nd round rookie Clifford Robinson was in their success. He was a skinny 6’10” raw kid who was able to play loose and make stunning athletic plays because the team was held together by Clyde Drexler, Buck Williams and others. I may be a nostalgic fool but I could see Mous playing a similar role on this team. Can’t teach height and motor.

I think the team has high hopes that moose can contribute. Another challenge for ty lue and Co. To bring this guy along. Hope, love and something to root for. Let’s go.

Hopefully getting to see him play with better players possibly on our roster then he got a chance with during SL. Throw him out there during garbage minutes etc with some of Mann Luke Coffey Preston Boston etc will be interesting to see how he does in a role of just rebounding defense and catching little dump passes again.

Moussa is very interesting because if he looks good, the Clippers might feel they won’t need to add another big man

He’s already in game shape so he shouldn’t need the conditioning and the additional wear and tear. Given that he’s our only real C, the last thing we need is for him to suffer any kind of injury before the games actually matter.

They present size at guard and versatility for a big man. Those traits are valuable to the teams filled with competent wings.
They won’t get that much minutes but if they stay ready, we might get to see the them growing up before our eyes.
