I’m always torn. I loved the look with Mann at the point, and think that could work, with the ball really in the hands of Kawhi and PG. But feels like we didn’t get to see it much, and I really don’t know if I liked it because it was taking Reggie/Wall off the floor or if I liked it because it was actually a good NBA offense that could work long term.

Ty and PG seem to be pretty firm in their mindset that this team needs a true point guard, and well they just don’t have anything close to one. Westbrook showed how a true point guard could help, but came with a lot of his own problems as well.

Basically they just need to add talent at both PG and PF. I say PG is more of a need since they really don’t have anyone right now at that position. PF is obviously a position of need too, but might be a harder one to upgrade given they have 3 of them, they’re all just pretty mediocre.

Middleton is a bit younger but he’s also injury-prone and significantly worse than PG with a similar style of game. Pass for me.

KM is a great player, when healthy. I don’t know — replacing one injury prone 1B star with another 1B star?

Looking back at this year in hindsight — knowing Kawhi’s chronic knee situation, it just wasn’t keeping him out of back to back games, but limiting how many min per games he could play.

Others have made insightful comments that when Kawhi played for the Raptors, it was an ideal situation since the Raptors already had an established and balanced team, and simply switched out Kawhi for Demar. And, of course, one of heck of a lucky 5 bounces in that elimination game against the Sixers.

Maybe, it is all about luck — we got unlucky with Kawhi’s knee bump from Joe Ingles (damn), and another unlucky contact injury from Lou Dort on Paul George. Kawhi again getting injured in Game 1 against the Suns, another freak happening.

Hasn’t the last 5-6 years all been about whatever good team is healthy during the Playoffs — wins?

Yep, Denver is my choice in the West.
But the East to too unpredictable. If Butler & Embiid are not healthy in time, we might see Celtics vs Knicks in ECF. You never know.

I’m still bitter from our 1st round exit due to freaking injuries to our two stars.
If the Lakers or Warriors win another chip this season, I’m going to vomit.
But, I’m ok with Reggie winning a chip with Denver.
