Wall one of the fist of those arguements, it cost us Hart and the lack of backup big which was evident for more than half of the season.

Plus, Wall was regularly stealing time from others that deserved.

And when we fixed it, we went all in to obtain Wall 2.0. Russ was good but still not convinced that we needed him if the our two stars were healthy.

If “washed” means “no longer effective” then a guy who was an All-Star a few years ago no longer being a rotation-level backup is washed.

I don’t blame the FO at all. The “unholy trio” cost us Hartenstein. When you have the coach and your 2-star players clamoring for something, they are going to get their way. Now they are trying to do the same with Westbrick.

The FO needs to “just say no” on Westbrook. It never ends well for Kamikazees.

When Lawrence Frank commented on the “lack of respect for the regular season” that was a direct shot at Lue. Frank didn’t bring in Covington and then re-sign him for Lue to sit him an entire season. The FO saw what we saw. Morris is done.

I think the FO will pretend to want Russell back but they will never offer him more than the bare minimum. Now that Westbrook’s reputation has been restored, some team will give him more than the minimum.

Bones will be the starting point.

I wonder if he’s always been like this but he got away w/ it before because of his insane athleticism + playing for a largely irrelevant team.

I understand that that’s probably what it took to get him bought out of Houston, let him give up 6-mil on that end to get paid that by the Clippers. But honestly if Houston was going to pay him $47-mil to let him sit at home, and Wall was going to get every penny he earned on that contract, then I would’ve just let them work it out between them, rather than give up that mini-MLE for such a gamble.
