It would be best for both RoCo and the Clippers if he’s traded along with Morris sooner than later.

RoCo deserves minutes. He’d be a starter on many of the lesser teams. He needs to build his value for the next contract.

The Clippers need to get SOMETHING for RoCo’s expiring. Having him sit on the bench is a waste for the current and future seasons.

Clippers don’t have any roster room. If they did a big deal for Harden or someone else and cleared spots then maybe, but right now they’re actually one over (Preston).

What was Payne’s salary? I think if we wanted him, we could’ve offered Preston and others to match salary instead of them cutting him for nothing.

Good idea but because we’ve done absolutely nothing in the offseason to feather the nest toward being a serious contender he will look elsewhere. Probably the Lakers or Celtics or even Denver. This is why it’s important to be aggressive and decisive on personnel moves. You can wait around for Harden and miss out on Collins and other FAs like Wood and Payne to bolder the roster too. Not sure what this looks like when we start camp.
