I like KJ a lot, but this offseason will still qualify as awful if Ty is feeding more minutes to MM than KJ, Batum, and/or RoCo.

Is John Collins the difference between winning a ring and barely making the playoffs? No. But he has the skills this team is sorely lacking (athleticism, youth, rebounding), would’ve been much better than anybody else we have at PF, and was traded for very cheap. The only way this offseason sorta makes sense to me is if the FO is set on letting everyone walk after this season and starting fresh when Intuit opens up – which…seems not great. This is why I wanted to blow it up this offseason. Sigh…well, go Clips.

This has been an awful offseason. At this point the FO telling MM to stay home (not happening, I know, but I can dream) to keep him away from Ty would be a huge victory.

But Kawhi isn’t a one man show–he needs plenty of help. Swapping out Morris for a player who can actually contribute would be huge. I’m just hoping the team sees it that way.

So I just watched a Memphis Philly game from last February and now I know why Philly fans are agonizing. Don’t get to see much more than the highlights so kind of assumed Joel was the raw GOAT and Maxey was the young Turk. With Tobias this has to be a good team right?

False.

Making matters even worse was the fact that Harden is basically a corpulent circus bear at this juncture. He doesn’t play defense and it’s not that he’s lazy on defense or is weak on defense he literally doesn’t play defense at all. He just stands there and tries to get rebounds. no wonder we haven’t pushed all our chips in on that item.

What’s most outrageous is that we didn’t get involved in the John Collins sweepstakes and perhaps weren’t able to land Christian Wood.

Not sure what the remaining power forward options are but I’m not interested in the flabby beard anymore.

If healthy I think we’re still pretty good so we should just keep our assets and go compete.

Its all about Kawhi anyway.

Thanks for the content Rob. I know everyone is reading even though there aren’t many comments. Now that we’re past Labor Day things should liven up. Looking forward to the next one.
