I think he plays a lil like the Suns Cam Payne.

Surprised he hasn’t played in the G-League before this year, but I guess he was playing more in Canada with Jamario. Not even sure he’s been on a summer league roster before.

His stat line in the G-league is impressive 18/6/4 on nearly 50/40/90 shooting.

Shooting in his limited time with the big club isn’t much worse, and his shot chart is kind of crazy. With the Clippers, 30% of his shots from long 2 (16ft to 3pt line) where he converted nearly 70% of them, and another 30% of his shots from 3-pt range. Shooting 50% from the field with barely any shots coming at the rim is seriously impressive (probably unsustainably impressive). Of course this is limited sample size with the Clippers. Not sure if or where they have the shot data for the g-league, so I’d be at least a little curious what his shot chart looked like for them. But he was 50% shooter in the g-league and internationally, so he’s been a solid shooter at every level he’s played at professionally.

I hope he’s back on a 2-way with the Clips, but even those positions might be in short supply. Clippers 2nd round pick probably gets left with a 2-way spot, with maybe Moon and Scrubb and others on their summer league/preseason squad fighting over the other.
