He’s not a high flyer like them. He’s more like big wing who can do everything. More like bigger, more calculated and more ground-bound Paul George. He’s not as slippery and explosive as PG but still possess the guard skill in 6-8 frame, due to his late growth spurt.
If you look at his draft bio, one thing stands out : Versatility.
I think he has a very high floor. With the tutorial of our development staff and a chance to learn from Kawhi, PG, Batum and RoCo. This young guy, if we really get him, will be a good player for a long time.

Looks to me like a bigger, more physical Paul George.
Not slippery or explosive as PG but still possess guard skill in a big wing body due to his late growth.

The keyword when you look at his draft detail is versatility. He does most of the stuff at high level, with minimal weakness.
To me, this guy seems to have one of the highest floor for the prospect in this draft class. I don’t think he will wow you with a high flying dunk or a chase down block. But for a long season, he will give you a steady production, night in and night out. That, for me, is quite a skill.
Just my thought, obviously. 🙂

Personally, I prefer Keegan Murray. Big, skilled and looks ready to contribute from day one. And if we send out Mook to get him, that’s direct replacement for a stretch 4 guy.

I’m not really sure how they make a trade for a high salary (re: “win-now”) player, given their salary-cap situation (I don’t see many tradeable contracts on their roster), but salary implications aside, what’s the most you guys would be willing to give up to get the #4 pick?

Personally I’m not sure who else I’d be willing to send out other than MM (it also depends on which player(s) we’d be taking back), but I’m actually pretty high on that Ivey kid – I think he’d be a good fit as a backup ballhandler and scorer off the bench immediately, with the potential to grow into more.

One mock draft this year matched us at 43rd pick with Michael Foster Jr. Surprisingly, his comp is JMyke. 🙂
