True, defense and rebounding, and his 3pt shot is dangerous enough to force opposing teams to guard him.

My main concern with RoCo is that we should all fully be expecting a strong regression in his 3-pt shooting. Sure always feels like guys in the Clippers offense start suddenly shooting better, but 45% from 3 for a guy that is a career 36% shooter and never shot over 40% in his career, probably isn’t sustainable.

I know I want to peg RoCo and Batum as a solid PF rotation, but I’m just curious if I’ll feel quite an enamored with RoCo if he’s a 36%-38% shooter rather than a 45% shooter.

In the end, as long as he continues to bring it defensively, I don’t think it will be too noticeable given he’s not really on the floor for his offense.

Roco’s intriguing. Turns 32 in December so that’s a bit worrisome when he’s pitted vs. younger, springy athletes not to mention becoming a bit more brittle as he ages. The team needs rebounding badly and his RPG avg is pretty good and maybe could be better with more minutes. But I think what we all most like about him (besides xlnt 3 pt shooting) is how clever he is on D with those Houdini like hands that are everywhere at the same time. I find myself replaying Roco’s steals/deflections often. You can’t teach that talent.
