Injuries aside, he just does not seem like a special player. I’m sure there may be one or two, but how many guys can ever make the jump from Juco to the pros? Ur either good enough (Kobe, LBJ) coming out of HS or you need some seasoning in a competitive Div. 1 conference to have a real chance.

TBH, SL basketball is a shit show so if neither Preston nor Scrubb look good in SL, I wouldn’t think much of it. In order to see how good these guys are, they need to play with NBA players.

I mean his G-league stats are impressive, but so are a bunch of other guys that never make it into the league. In his limited time with the big club, he just hasn’t had enough flashes for me to think he’s a rotation level player.

Will be interesting how he looks in summer league (assuming he’s healthy?). At this point though, with Boston, Preston, and another 2nd rounder this summer, I just feel like he’s unlikely to have a roster spot with the Clippers this year. I guess he could still compete with like Moon and other camp invites for a 2-way contract, but unfortunately for him as another guard, he probably doesn’t play a position of need either.

Considering our two stars have not so great health for the last 2 years, we have to utilize the entire roster and not burn out players. Also, the biggest off season issue is getting a quality point guard. Reggie cannot play as many minutes like last season.
