PG is not perfect but he pretty damn good.

He is starting to silence the haters, he will have a great season next year as I expect more time for him as a SF.

And I would never trade him for Lillard, just putting that out there.
Morris, Rondo and Kennard for Lillard, I would take!

I don’t know if his defense is falling off or if he is just tasked with guarding smaller and quicker players now, even though he is getting older and slower. Paul George is a SF playing the SG position in an era of basketball where all the positions are getting smaller but more mobile. He should be playing more PF (like he did in the playoffs) and can run the point forward. Kawhi and Paul can iinterchangeably play SF/PF and are both great rebounders. If the opposing team is going to have a big PF/C then yeah we can go with a bigger line up, but I would like to see TMann or Luke starting most games at the SG position.

Yeah, with EG and Luke your just swapping one variable for the other. I do think EG just gives us more of that Reggie-like bounce off the dribble that we need more so than just spot up shooting.

PG13 showed his mettle this postseason. Dude was just starting to click with Kawhi when Kawhi went down (fuck you, Jingles), and kept it rolling even after he had to shoulder the load mostly by himself (w/ some timely bailouts from Big Government Reggie, of course). I agree that he’s not good enough defensively to warrant like an All-NBA defense selection, but there really aren’t many guys who can bottle up the elite offensive players (e.g. Dame, Steph, KD) in today’s game anyways, and the ones who can (e.g. Bev, Smart, Simmons) can’t do 1/10 of the stuff PG13 does on offense. Regardless, I’m proud of PG13 redeeming himself this postseason, even if we didn’t ultimately win it all (again, fuck you, Jingles).

P.S. Loving my PG5’s. It’s been a while since I’ve had full-on low tops for ball, and the extra freedom around my ankles is great (…until/unless I roll em lol).

I mean, Reggie and/or Luke are the kind of secondary/tertiary scorers we need, in theory too. If Playoff Reggie, or really even 70% of him, persists into next season, he’d be plenty good enough to be a third scoring option behind Kawhi and PG13.
