For me, Pat Bev is not strictly essential.

I love his defensive intensity but everything else can be replaced.

I would like to have him on the roster but if we can include him in a package for something better, why not?

Bev’s health is for sure a factor. You know he wants to prolong his playing life so I’d expect him to be smarter with his fitness and health protocols. I think he will. Recall how we all complained big time about “Glassinari” for all his injury woes. He managed to turn the corner and be productive. Bev can too and we need that stopper vs. the elite guards out there.

Also you might have to front him while he posts up then get back behind behind him to defend once he catches in the post , very exhausting for sure!
That’s where sheer “will of energy matters. Obviously certain bigs can just make u bbq chicken no matter what you do but you gotta try to everything lol
I’m 5’8 been playing against guys twice my size and weight my whole life . Jason kapono was 6feet tall practically in 6th grade, posting up and shooting over me, taught me ALOT.
Have fun guarding my quickness and ball handling when I’m on the offensive side of the ball though, that’s the trade off, and on D even though I was always outmatched with size
Quickness and heart made me a super annoying defender though.
Shout out pat Bev !! That’s my game lol

Yeah that pretty much my mindset, basically being”hopeful” that another team disregards his lower value and takes him on as “something” instead of nothing” like the cp3 for Bev decker Lou Trez trade.(Longshore/ caps our team?)
But yeah I listed him last because he kinda in that no mans land of not having high value but not also super low value either. With everyone healthy , somebody gotta go or maybe were planning on a lot of load managing for others/for Luke to get those minutes to raise his value.
