Absolutely essential that we resign him, in my opinion.

He is so versatile, he can plug so many holes and the ball moves so much better with him on the floor.

He should be the standard by which all off-season moves are judged!

I had a good feeling when we signed him but he exceeded all my expectations!

Free agent at 32 and you are asking him to take less money and play on a team missing the Hall of Famer that is eating up a third of our cap space (or whatever it is)
If Batum resigns, and I hope he does, he deserves a fucking statue for displaying the most altruism I’ve ever witnessed in an off season. Clipper fans….we know this….KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS LOW. The Batum back to the Clippers dream is lunacy.

Although I love what Bev brought in the WCF, I believe that the Clips need to move on from him. His availability or lack thereof is a major concern. With KL being out most if not of all next year, availability is going to be needed more than ever if the Clips hope to make the playoffs.

Hopefully, the Clips select a PG in the draft and that PG is also the BPA. I would think if the Clips traded for Hield or Gordon, they would at least get a pick back from Sac or Houston for taking a bad contract off their hands. Sac is most likely ready to move on from Hield considering that they are probably drafting his replacement at pick #9.
