I would like to see Kennard play more.
I would like to see Kennard play point guard.
I wouldn’t mind if he is included in a big trade for a super star.

Morris+Kennard+stuff for Simmons anyone?

I think Luke’s biggest con is his contract, but since we’re paying with Ballmer bucks and over the cap anyways there’s little reason to go looking to dump him. If there’s a trade that fills a bigger need then we take that for sure, otherwise there is a spot in the rotation for him. I just wish he had a little more lateral quickness, to be a better defender and a more dynamic scorer.

The Clippers should try kicking the tires on trading Luke Kennard for Justise Winslow who has an expiring contract and is coming off a miserable year and a future first round pick –Memphis has Utah’s 2022 first round pick which is likely to convey. Memphis has made previous overtures for Luke when he played in Detroit. The Clippers take a chance on Justise who may or not pan out and is coming off a terrible year. Plus, the Clippers get some much needed draft capital. The Grizzlies get a young shooter on a long term contract (this matters because Memphis struggles to attract free agents) who they can sell to their fan base.

Mostly agree, but I was hoping this team could succeed with depending on a less than 10-man rotation. Plus we have the rotting corpse of Rondo taking up a spot on the roster, so we’re running out of room.

I agree, but most of our assets’ value don’t match their contracts. (‘cept Mann,maybe Zubac).

And I agree, we need more young legs in the rotation … that we can depend on to play 85% of the games.

Luke seems like the perfect soak regular season minutes up candidate to save our old legs. No sense trading him right now since his value won’t match his contract.

Great pure shooter; would like to see him expand that role with the Clippers.

But too much wing depth to find enough minutes. Can’t see holding onto all of them. Reggie will probably get a good offer from the Clips considering they don’t have too many options to sign FA’s. So I expect to see them try to trade Luke or Bev.
