Highly unlikely after the last playoffs but who knows, maybe Playoffs Rondo still exists in eyes of some.

On Dinwiddie in particular, we aren’t going to be able to pull off bringing a S&T guy in.

Is this your opinion or because of the salary cap rules?

Of course some changes can/will be made depending on circumstances.

Ty Lue is our HC and Dan Craig is our associate head coach. Everyone else was in the bullpen. Chauncey left for a #1 job, Atkinson and Rodgers each left for #2 jobs. Everyone who left took a promotion that would have been a totally rational, normal step up for any coach to make at any point, whether Kawhi was healthy or hurt, whether we just won the title or just missed the playoffs. It just feels extreme because, as you’ll recall, Atkinson Billups and Craig were all in the running for HC jobs last summer. We built a staff of guys who we knew would use us as a stepping stone.

2) I agree on the hybrid approach, but it truly depends on what the team/Kawhi think/know about his timeline. If they are really thinking that mid-season return w/ a ramp up for a full-strength playoff run is possible, you probably keep the team more or less intact w/ the minor moves we had been planning, except maybe you think you need like 1 extra guy to plug those RS minutes on the wing and create some offense. If 2021-22 is going to be a lost year from a contention perspective, I still think the majority of the core should stay (you still re-sign Reggie and Batum if you can), but in particular PatBev and Rondo feel like guys who you need to move for a different/younger/more offensively creative guard.

3) On Dinwiddie in particular, we aren’t going to be able to pull off bringing a S&T guy in.
