At his price point, there is no fricking chance of finding anything better.

He won’t be great in all matchups but if he didn’t get injured, maybe we would have eliminated the Suns without Kawhi.

Gotta tell ya, the Zu slander against the Suns/CP3 was hard to watch/read on here, especially since most commenters seemed to go off of being emotional wrecks and prisoners of the moments rather than see what was actually happening.

These are the matchup stats this post-season for CP3:
50.0% FG against Giannis (12 of 24)
73.9% FG against Jrue (17 of 23)
23.8% FG against Zu (5 of 21)
47.4% FG against Mook (9 of 19)

Only players coming close to defending CP3 as well as Zu: PJ Tucker and Anthony Davis.

Oh yeah, Booker against Zu on matchups? 30.8% FG (4 of 13). Zu is outplaying his contract big time. Sorry if you don’t see it.

Yeah, it’s one thing to able to do it and another to be instructed to do it. Ty clearly believes that Zu’s value on offense is as a screen setter and rim runner. He is not spacing the floor even if he jacked up 10 jumpers a game. Teams hardly respected Serge’s jumper even giving his track record.

no we didn’t , because i’m not using Reddit, i only comment on Clippers here.

but yeah, i stick to what i believe in, and i believe that Zu can be more productive if coaching staff changes how they use him on offense, because he was trained to do what coach tells him and don’t go off script.
Also paradygm “Zu’s limited offensive skillset” is far too often mentioned here, so i have to react because he can do much more on offense if they let him and develop plays for him, so he doesn’t have to wait if someone dumps him the ball.
And it’s not only about Zu, it’s about Clippers not having real plan B to fall back on when 3s don’t fall as they did during regular season.

Zu grew leaps and bounds last season and I’m perfectly happy with him especially if Serge stays on.

I hope that Zubac continues to grow stronger and leaner. He is a lot different from the pudgy young guy that started with the Lakers. He doesn’t seem to have as much lift.
