Offensively he makes sense, too bad he can’t defend at all.

Unless he makes strides in terms of conditioning and physical shape, expect more of the same.

No brainer vet min signing. Everybody already guaranteeing Zu and serge to eat up the minutes, however with serge we have no idea how his back is and will be for next season if he “opts in” ,,Zu’s should be healthy and ready to go . Now if there’s “another vet min center on the market better then cousins and willing to join a kawhi-less clippers team I’m listening……

I was pretty outspoken about Nic not being washed up and how great he was going to be for us when we signed him. I knew he was trying to play himself off Charlotte for an opportunity to win. We saw Blake do the same thing in Detroit.I believe in Cousins for different reasons. He was a liability on defense and committed a lot of fouls. But I think we should give him a break on those items considering he came into a convoluted situation with little time to assimilate while probably still rehabing to some degree. His explosiveness around the rim, offensive rebounding, passing and overall “wow” factor were stunning at times and I want to see what a training camp on a team with a commitment can bring out of him. Is the Joker any faster than Cuz on defense? Does he not also commit a lot of dumb fouls? All I’m saying is that it’s premature to write off Cuz at only 30 and I seriously think there’s a chance he could return close to what he was with a little more conditioning and time with the same team. Sign him to VM and if he’s a bust waive or include in trade. If he does return to form, watch out league. Especially if/when Kawhi comes back.

I also don’t like Cousins. But, when I saw him engaged on the bench I was encouraged. He was hugely enthusiastic for his team’s success. I always wondered if NBA vets had a “mercenary” attitude: hard to feel part of a team when you change sides so often. But he was a real professional in a good way during his time here.

I didn’t like Boogie much as a basketball player but I thought he played well enough given the circumstances. Sucks that he got injured, that has cost him hundreds of millions and he has handled that pretty well all things considering. i wouldn’t mind seeing him back in the Clippers uni next season.
