I think Luke can get better just by receiving more playing time. He's shown that he's one of the best shooters in the league. Hopefully he continues to work on the defense.

Luke’s problem is mental. He passed up too many open 3s and then didn’t even aggressively go to the basket after his weak pump fakes. He’s scared to shoot and drive.

Comparing his 18/19 season to last season, his points and makes are almost the same off less attempts. He improved his efficiency.

If he fixes his hesitancy, he should EASILY average 12pts off at least two 3pm, and 3ast. That’s the least he should be doing considering his contract.

I don’t think he’s reached his ceiling yet either. 6’5”, 210 from Duke with that stroke? I’ll bet he goes full board deep threat assassin this year. We have to keep in mind that whether it be Reggie or Zu or even Terrence and certainly Luke these guys have all been navigating ambiguous waters with regard to what’s expected of them. This team is the first iteration since lob city to where we’ve kept most of the band together and they all know who they are now. If serges’ back, Winslow’s wheels and Bledsoe’s motor are tip top watch the F_-k out.

Every time he shoots the three I’m confident it’s going in whether it does or not. His shots look good almost every time. However his D with his contract is on the meh to negative side for me , 10 mil or less per yer year would of been a lot better.
Man I’ve said it before but if we could of just gotten saddiq bey outta that deal? Bet had a great rookie year for a depleted pistons squad and I feel as next season and future seasons pass we , teams will definitly regret on passing on him.

I dont think clips coaching staff know how to use luke properly. Sure he is a shooter but he can be much more than that. He has passing chops and isnt put in situations where he can use it.

I think Luke can get better just by being more used to the system, team, and teammates, but I’m mostly with Taylor in that I don’t see a ton of improvement happening.

Wow, Taylor, no optimistic love for Luke there. You really don’t think Luke is bulking up and making strides on D? I do and I further expect a much improved and well rounded player with an expanded opportuning and role in KLs absence. Seize the opportuning Luke.
