Not knowing anything definitively is frustrating for us as fans, but on the bright side, it gives us a ton of leeway in terms of speculation I guess. And, really, isn’t baseless speculation what social media is for?

It absolutely shouldn’t be politics, but, well, thanks to a very vocal minority of the population, this is the world we live in unfortunately. Either way though, as G Rap said above, even anti-vaxxers should be happy that the Clips are vaccinated, since it has real consequences in terms of wins/losses this year. This helps minimize the risk to themselves and others, and also helps minimize any game absences that may come up during the season – win, win, and win.

Great point, definitly a possibility. Truth is our FO and team do not let any cats out of any bags! Everything kept in house . This is a great thing as the organization and players don’t have a ton of media/drama spit out at them/or about them, causing
Distractions, however from a fans perspective we just get left in the dark with the rest of the world unfortunately . Big picture though I’m glad they handle there buisness from within and only let out what they want to share. I bet most teams follow this blueprint in the future,
The media/narratives, click baits, and any Joe Shmoe sitting in his underwear eating Cheerios can write a story citing “sources” .

I might suggest that it’s not politics, but simply consideration for the safety of others during a pandemic. I saw a list of fully vaccinated teams earlier and was disappointed to see that the Clippers were not among them. Glad to know that the Clippers are now on that list.

I wonder exactly how long Serge had been dealing with this issue last season. Even in the beginning of the year his athleticism had pretty clearly dropped off compared to his time in Toronto, so I wonder if he had the issue to begin with, and it just gradually got worse as the season grinded him down, or if his lessened athleticism was just him being older now. Hopefully he’ll look fresher after the surgery and all the time off.

Not a pro- vaxer or a anti vaxer but I am vaccinated I’m super glad to hear this. Hell even if I was anti vaxer I would want the whole team vaccinated to be playing eligible just for my own selfish reasoning

Back issues/back surgeries usually tend to work well for younger guys
In basketball terms serge is not a young guy but in relations outside of basketball serge is still young enough to be able to bounce back 100%
However if he has lingering issues
Barely plays/ plays bad
He will be the first one on the trade block unfortunately imo.
So he either comes back 100%
Mediocre or a shell of himself,
We shall see once he’s healthy enough to log significant minutes.
