As I recall, that didn’t work out very well for the pellies???? I just would like to lessen the ball handling burdens on PG. Addition by substraction.

“Possible” is poor wording. If you’re suggesting “likely,” that’s arguable. Statistical regression to the mean suggests that shooting doesn’t improve over time. However, shooting is a skill that should improve over time with continuous practice which is what a professional basketball player is expected to do. The main reason for a regression would be lack of practice or small sample size. Nic had a nearly full season sample size, so nix the latter. Nic hasn’t been injured and does not look unmotivated, so nix the former. Looking at his FGA, last season was his smallest amount of attempts outside of his rookie year and last year with Charlotte. Outside of those 2 seasons, he is playing the smallest role and lowest option on offense of his career, giving him easier looks.

In our case it would be next to Reggie, isn’t the the thinking Bledsoe will play better as a pg?

Yeah, seemed for now meaning the preseason and then see how it goes. I also assume Ty will stagger Bled and Reggie no matter who starts.

I want Reggie Mann PG13 starting , but I guess he sees Bledsoe as replacing Beverly who was our starter when healthy atleast during reg season. Bledsoe should be considered a 2 way player even though past years he’s not been himself. But If that’s the case I still want Mann to start
Then let Reggie tear it up off the bench?

Not a fan because it leaves us w/o a proven PG for the bench unit, and I’m not confident that Luke and Mann can handle playmaking by themselves quite yet. But I’m really not too worried. If this were Doc I’d be legit worried, but I think we’ve all seen that Lue is willing to change things up if/when necessary. Lots of new guys on the roster, so I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of experimentation in the early part of the season, similar to last year.
