And one other thing. Clips now have a very cool dynamic: that several really good players around the league would love to play alongside our 2 stars, no question that’s a great draw. Ballmer and the boys certainly know that. Much like across the hall but with more longevity.

Prob right, but a lil clipper drama during the doldrums never hurt anybody. The Rox bloggers say they'd grudgingly give up a weak 1st rounder to be rid of Wall's god awful contract as they are all on board with handing over the reins to their young guys. Smart thinking. I just don't know that much about Wall. I know folks say he used to be the fastest guy in the nba and I know he's been damn good but they say Beal's better. Injuries, age, $$ bloat factor all scream no unless you can get a good first rounder (clips would like to be draft capital holders again I'll bet) and not give up too damn much. We fans have our faves--personally I'd like to see Luke develop here, Reggie is an almost must see player, Mann too. The team could easily stand pat.

I’m sure that’s exactly what his first option is debatable if wall wants all his money and be on OkC just to sit and not play all season until boughten out or not bought out at all. Wall been out too long the dude wants to hoop I’m sure

I hear you on possibly getting compensation back from rockets
However the Bledsoe/Reggie
Jump needs to be looked as if bled is gone but Reggie stays and adds supreme depth to our bench
This is of course if serge is a shell of himself because if healthy the depth of Bledsoe/serge/Luke is definitly greater then wall/reggie

It really depends on who the Clips would send out. I’d be pissed if we had to ship out Zu, for example. Hell, even Luke would kind of annoy me, given how much better he looked towards the end of last season. Plus, is the jump from Reggie/Bledsoe to Wall really worth giving up on one of our promising young pieces? If the Rockets are willing to toss in a 1st or something to compensate us for taking on that whale of a deal, then that might also change the conversation…

For sure!
Though, You gotta think as well that gms have seen untradeable contracts get traded in the past.
Cp3, Russ, horford/twice, Gordon Hayward, wall from wizards to Houston, etc. problem for rockets is they basically already came out and said he’s not going to play this year as a rocket, devalualing his already pretty much devalued untradeable contract.
Unless of course this is wall and his agent being the source to Shams, and the only truth out the rockets is that they “won’t” buy him out?
I doubt this is the case, seems to me Houston just a shitty ran franchise now.
Remember how teams said they were “going” to trade and listen to offers for Aldridge, Blake, when we all knew close to nobody would want to trade for these guys except for the lone OkC taking on bad contracts for picks?

Any logical gm/franchise would just buy him out and keep there picks and sweetners, but they might not value a couple late firsts and want to save millions on not buying him out!
