Imagne the spacing. Also I said this all year and am sticking to it. We needed a point guard. Kawhi shoud have not been are primary ball handler during the playoffs. I believe a soid pg would of made a huge difference. Im sticking to this assumption. Dont care what anyone says.

All I *really* want from the team is to fire Doc and SnT Trez. Everything else I’m fine w/ tinkering around the margins (e.g. packaging some combination of Bev, Lou, and/or Shamet for a better fitting PG and/or a legitimate backup C). I don’t think we need CP3 (and frankly I doubt he wants to come back here), and even if we did OKC already has all our assets.

I’m also cool w/ the FO taking a big swing (would probably necessitate shipping out PG13 for a “grand slam”), but until we get a clearer picture of who’s available and until we know whether or not Doc will be back (please be gone, please be gone, please be gone….), it’s gonna be tough figuring out what the right fit would be.

Like Marcellus Wallace said in pulp fiction we’re “pretty fucking far from ok.” No one respects anyone in this organization now after this debacle and that will manifest itself both Inside and outside the locker room. If we can’t make a grand slam move like landing CP or at least a Schroeder we might as well have a fire sale now while we have assets to move that could put a real contender over the top. Clearly Kawhi is not Lebron or Kobe or anyone else he was being compared to and needs a system to cradle into to be effective. We have no system other than Docs keystone cops seat of the pants whimsical experiments and our vaunted perimeter defensive specialists are all going to be north of 30 by next playoffs. I read where we are the third oldest team in the league and we’re supposed to have some higher ceiling? It was a gutsy gamble on the part of the FO but it failed. Hopefully there’s a team gullible enough to SNT Trez contract and perhaps we can put a package together for CP. I’m not being sentimental. It’s that he’s still the best quarterback in the league and only he could organize this mess into something cohesive. We need broad strokes not tweaking around the edges.

I’d take a couple non-guaranteed 2nd round picks and an expiring contract for him everyday of the week.
