Think DJ made some improvements under Doc but I do believe the growth of a player can be hindered by a bad support system. The Doc/Zubac and VDN/DJ situation had a lot of similarities and bad coaching mixed with no investment in a player can make a player look worse than he actually performs. It’s on Zubac to take the post toxic situation step forward

Yeah I really dislike watching him think he’s silky smooth shake and bake b.s . I hope the new coaching staff has got something for him.
Shaq’s take(the one I firsted commented about) was that we should do whatever we can to give kawhi a Toronto type team where he is hands down the best player and EVERY other player on the team knows there role and lets kawhi be the the 1 and only MAN on the team
Instead of the frustrated kawhi and pg13 trying to figure out who’s turn it is b.s. if they play better together I have no problems with keeping them as our duo.
But let’s face it Shaq has some miserable takes on basketball sometimes. But I’d like to think he knows something about dynamic duos more then ANY of us and I mean that in a very respectful way.
If we had a Lowry and ibaka , we could compare better to the Toronto kawhi team that was successful.
So hence trading pg13 for two really good players that know there roles better could be the better play.

Zu is better than all of those guys and younger. They need to invest in him, and that means big minutes. If they get Ibaka, I hope that means much less (or no) Marcus Morris.

I think PG is a good example where good coaching matters and our ISO heavy offense hurts him. How many times we see PG try to shake and bake to create a shot while the clock winds down? Or all those walk up 3s that when he’s hot he’ll hit like 3 in a row but when he’s cold will air ball? He’s turned into a volume 3pt shooter and those guys will have some ugly stat lines. Ty will hopefully craft an offense that will make life easier for him. He’s also a more efficient shooter than a bunch of guys including JrueDown, Luka, Bradley Beal, Kemba, Dragic, etc.

In playoff games when he was with OkC

I don’t follow laker anything lucas, it’s well known pg13 has a shotty playoff resume.
Like I said it’s all good we agree to disagree. He ain’t my choice superstar.
Let’s look at AD and lebrons playoff games this year and count all the stinkers they laid ? They didn’t have any. It’s all good I respect your b-ball intellect greatly bro, my eye and gut check tells me abandon pg13 while people out there still think that is was some anomaly or something while I feel the guy is overrated
And we could do a lot Better with draymond and Jrue , we could get a pick/s out of it as well. I’m not even sure it would be a given that NOLa does make that trade.
OkC took advantage of us because we were desperate! Warriors, Minnesota, possibly philly seem like they could be desperate teams this season all needing to make a big jump or improvement in there playoff play. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to take advantage of somebody else while pg13’ s value hasn’t completely tanked.
But hey we got this one year to be right about the kawhi pg13 pairing so we will no soon enough and the team will be out of excuses.

I look up every game of the season for kawhi and Paul George and Paul George has many more horrible shooting nights then kawhi. I counted em up easily . So no I’m not trading kawhi for Jrue and draymond . If I’m trading one of our “ superstars it’s pg13 is that such a hot take??
