My hot take!

Why not start Mann at the PG spot. Give him 18 to 20 mins with the starters allowing Beverley to come off the bench with either Lou/Kennard. Sorts out our bench defence problem and allows Terence to stuff the stats.

I feel TMann could easily get 8-5-5 in limited minutes allowing us to create some value in him.

For T-Mann, his last regular season game against the Thunder, has shown his offensive potential.
He is an un-selfish, team first player. It looks like he is happy to let teammates score rather than himself.
There is a recent video of him and Fi practicing shooting. He looks very comfortable letting it fly.
He will be fine.

Pg13 needs a sport psychiatrist and a different team to be on.
We need a player that has all the physical tools pg13 has but actually has a brain bigger then a pigeon.

I think you may be a bit harsh on your weakness evaluations. I don’t believe he lacked “confidence” but I felt that in Doc’s systems, everyone has their role and his was NOT that of an offensive player. I thought in his first Summer League he showed how versatile he could be and I’m prepared to play the long game in letting him develop. Hopefully Ty can give him that confidence and “Green light” mentality to be more aggressive on the offensive end.

I think he needs a good sport psychologist. He says all the right things but I’m not sure he believes them or can back them up with his current mindset?

Dude needs two things:

A publicist
Someone close to him who he trusts and who will actually tell him stuff he might not want to hear

(1) can be a barrier between his raw, unfiltered, half-baked thoughts and the ravenous media/fans, and (2) can help w/ his legit lack of awareness/maturity.
