Yeah, 90/10 might be a reasonable C/PF split for Ibaka. We’ll probably get looks of them together early and then based on how that goes we might see a lot more or a lot less of it as the year goes on.

The “washed or bounce back” game is always unpredictable, so I won’t say for sure that Barea is cooked, but I am certain that he’s a huge problem defensively at 5’10” and 36 years old. He’s a guy you look at in March after you trade Lou, to be like the point guard Joakim Noah role.

Great article Lucas! To me ibaka is/will be mainly a 5, what do you think the 4/5 distribution looks like for him(90% at 5 and 10% at 4) I’m assuming he’d be considered center(not that it really matters)no matter who he plays with besides Zu. For this reason I’m hoping we somehow get another backup four, ideally by trading Lou because I think Patterson should be a 5th big in rotation not 4th. Also do you think anything will happen with PG and Kennard in regards to extensions?

Look for Zu to shoot more outside. Coaching staff would be wise to develop that weapon.

I hated whenever Trez missed makeable shots and got fouled. Excruciating watching him at the line. Crappy FT shooter. Won’t miss that part of his game–at all.

Hope Batum can live up to his agent’s hype job, saying his client was in the best shape of his career right now. Anxious to see what he’s got left in the tank.

There were rumors that he wanted to play for doc which I’m not sure of
But by swapping giannis for pg13
The battle for LA would be on steroids. And not that battle of LA is what players solely care about , but the hype for fans/media the world is huge,
I can see it being positive for giannis to team up with kawhi.

I’ve been thinking this same thing. I’ve got to believe Clip FO has their feelers going out to Giannis’s camp. I could definitely see Giannis coming to the Clips.

Far away, but clock is ticking on giannis extension, and if it’s a possibility they we could swap Giannis for pg 13 it gives us 1 more title shot with the kawhi pg13 duo and also gives us insurance if we fail to use go after giannis as a recruitment tool to keep kawhi/resign extend kawhi.
Shouldn’t be thinking that far down the road right now but giannis would of extended already if he wanted to , and he hasn’t. Trying to look at the big landscape of the nba right now.
Harden giannis potentially change it drastically.
Also I’d trade pg13 for harden in a heartbeat.

Dunno. Looks like our postseason FTA stayed pretty consistent. Looking at the stats, it’s pretty clear our defense is what did us in. Our offensive statistics (2nd in PPG and 3rd in FG%) were suprisingly good.
