Think of all the family he can interact with to a greater degree not to mention being here to give back to groups he supports. His comments make it all the more crucial that the team is off the charts successful this season. Injuries + covid will likely play a significant role in how the team does. This should be one of the most impactful and interesting clips season ever.

The Lakes, OTOH, have cemented their big 2 for yrs down the line. That commitment gives our rivals a degree of certainty and comfort that the clips lack, for now.

I imagine Leonard’s decision will be based off of his comfort with the roster and organization more so than being in LA. The dude has had massive success in both Texas and Toronto so he has a really good feel for the pros and cons of different markets and different organizations.

I can obviously see how declining his option would be to his financial benefit but when juxtaposed next to his comments about how PG grew up here and is really attached to the team and city, it seems as tho he was saying that he, kawhi, is not in the same loyalty boat as PG. Subject to interpretation, I guess, and hope KL clarifies.

I’ve been real down since the end of the season. Seeing Kawhi’s comments today really brought it home that if we don’t win a ring this season we will have sold our franchise’s future down the river for Paul George. Having a hard time feeling excited for this season, feels like we may really struggle out of the gate. I kind of think there’s a chance this season is a complete train wreck because we are mentally destroyed from last season, which is still so fresh. Someone help me see the bright side?!

Folks need to stop looking at numbers for everything cuz they’re deceiving as hell.. PG was just ok last season & had more bad games than great.. I’m sure alot of that had to do with the lack of continuity but he didn’t have a great year by any means.. That said, I fully expect him to have the best season yet & be a serious contender for the MVP.. It’s all going to come down to the Clippers record.. & since it was alluded to, I’m hella happy that ol boy isn’t gonna cover the Clips anymore! The agenda was clear throughout the year with the petty shit

A little high initial reaction but then again it Dejounte Murray, Kelly Oubre, Will Barton money.

The comparison to Klay Thompson is very accurate. Until he won in the Playoffs, Klay received a lot of criticism when he disappeared during games. Let’s see how healthy and more acclimated PG13 and KL are playing with the rest of the team by Feb. 2021.

PG has the shooting to be a SG but he is really a big wing.

Some of the issues last year did arise from the fact that both were not acustomed to play with each other and because of load management, injuries etc, did not have time to gel as much as we would like. The iso heavy play for example was a consequence of them competing for the same spaces on the floor.

I did not see as many Kawhi to PG or PG to Kawhi assists as I would like.
I think this aspect will be improved this year as they know eachother much more and hoping that Ty Lue will help.

I am also expecting to see many lineups of the type:

Bev-[X]-PG-Kawhi-Serge

where X could be any of Lou, Kennard or Mann.
