And the Clippers will take care of Kawhi and he’ll re-up. Hope he’ll stop commandeering the women’s locker room for pregame stretching away from the rest of the team. That was pretty odd and seems to have been an issue this past ill-fated season.

Sounds like a weird lawsuit. I mean unless there’s a contract to pay the guy $2.5 M (and I don’t think West or the Clips would be that dumb) then it’s just a “he said, she said” lawsuit. And those don’t go well for the plaintiff.

We’ll probably never know the truth. Either it will flame out quickly or the Clips will settle (which is a bit of an admission). So I’m guessing the former.

I think Bev can cover the PG role as long as he combines his defensive intensity with more playmaking and ball movement, punishing the opponents when left wide open.

He needs to control his personal fouls and take more initiatives.

It’s early for sure, but I think Kennard appears to be an underrated playmaker with an underrated handle. He’s got that over Shamet, it appears. Bev is a team guy overall so he’d be good with not starting if the first team has success with Kennard. And, it could maybe cut down Bev’s minutes some to lessen the injury factor.

Times like these where I wish the preseason were longer – more time to experiment. I get that Bev might get miffed about being sent to the bench, but something tells me Zu probably isn’t too happy about it either (though yea, it’s still just preseason), considering we just spent the entire offseason (justifiably) pointing out how good and deserving of more minutes he was last year.

I mean I’d love it if they used it occasionally just to confuse the offense – like if for example you had someone on the other team trying to bring the ball past half court who was unaccustomed to handling the ball. But I don’t think it’s productive for Bev to try to full court press alone, and getting called for ticky tack reach in fouls in those situations seems like a net negative to me.
